Hi, I’m Ray! I am the owner and performer behind Colonial Juggling and Balloons. As a proud resident of Colonial Heights, I started this business to bring premium, high-energy entertainment to my neighbors.

Unlike large agencies, when you contact Colonial Juggling and Balloons, you get me. I handle everything from the first email to the final bow. I am fully insured and committed to safety, ensuring parents can relax while I keep the kids entertained.

My schedule stays busy with birthday parties, weddings, and corporate events, but I always aim to stay connected to our town. I love marching in our local parades and, as my schedule allows, I select a few local charities each year to support with pro bono performances.

My Services

Kids' Birthday Parties: An interactive circus experience! I start with a high-energy juggling performance to wow the crowd, followed by a hands-on workshop. Every child gets a quick lesson using juggling scarves, allowing them to learn the craft while becoming the stars of the show!
Strolling Entertainment: I move through the crowd at festivals or large events, performing "pocket circus" tricks and twisting balloons on the go.
Restaurant Residencies: Tableside juggling and balloons that keep families entertained while they wait for their meals.
Booth & Line Entertainment: Perfect for fairs or corporate events! I set up a dedicated station where I craft detailed balloon sculptures for a steady stream of happy guests.
1 Hour Juggling Workshops: A hands-on, interactive experience where I teach your group the fundamentals of juggling! Perfect for corporate team building, school programs, or community events, I provide the props and step-by-step coaching to get everyone catching their first patterns.

Please note: All performances must be reserved at least 21 days in advance to guarantee availability. Any inquiries made within a shorter timeframe are subject to performer availability.

Terms of Service: Colonial Juggling and Balloons

1. Services Provided I provide professional entertainment services, including balloon animal twisting and juggling. My services are available for:

Restaurants: Tableside or lobby entertainment.

Private Events: Birthday parties, weddings, or social gatherings.

Corporate Events: Picnics, holiday parties, and promotional events.

2. Booking and Deposits

Deposits: A non-refundable $25 deposit is required to secure your date. This deposit is applied toward your total balance.

Payment: Full payment is due on the day of the event. I accept Cash, Credit, Cashapp, Venmo, Zelle, and Checks on a case by case basis.

3. Cancellations and Rescheduling

Advance Scheduling & Availability: To ensure the highest quality performance and proper preparation, all bookings must be finalized at least 21 days (3 weeks) prior to the event date.

Short-Notice Bookings: To ensure the highest quality experience, I recommend booking at least 21 days in advance. Inquiries made within this 21-day window are welcomed and will be accommodated whenever my schedule permits.

Rush Fees: Events booked with less than 14 days' notice may be subject to a $25 Rush Fee to cover expedited logistics and scheduling adjustments.

Client Cancellations: Cancellations made within 48 hours of the event may result in the forfeiture of the deposit.

Weather Policy: For outdoor events (like picnics), the client must provide a shaded or covered area. In the event of extreme weather, I will make every effort to reschedule, but cannot guarantee availability.

4. Safety and Liability

Supervision: For kids' parties, a parent or guardian must be present at all times.

Choking Hazard: Balloon scraps can be a choking hazard for young children. I recommend my services for children ages 3+ and am not liable for accidents resulting from the misuse of balloons.

Equipment: For the safety of the performer and the guests, clients must ensure a clear performance area for juggling.

Insurance: I carry full public liability insurance for your peace of mind.

5. Professional Conduct

Environment: To provide the best experience for your guests, a safe and respectful environment is required. I reserve the right to conclude services if the environment becomes unsafe for the performer or the equipment.

Media: I may take photos or videos for promotional use unless you explicitly opt-out in writing prior to the event.
